All the Shots in the Clips Below are in This Training Pack

You can use this to reference any of the shots or to get a better understanding
Everything below is to help you understand how to read the walls better and help you understand where the bounces will go after making contact with the walls
Fundamentals
When the ball hits the wall, the speed reduces by approximately 38%. The angle doesn't matter
When you hit the ball off the wall, the distance it lands will be less than the distance you shot it from because of the drop in speed.
This is important for all wall plays and can be a very helpful tip when you are trying to learn double taps and improve your reads on defense, especially overhead clears
Wall Bounces - Speed Reduction
The clip shows you a ball hitting the wall from 4 different points of speed. It shows the POV from both car and ball cam so you can get an understanding of how far it bounces and what it will look like when you have the car cam on in-game
This will help you understand where to position your car based on the bounce and the speed of the ball
The faster you can read the ball and jump, the more likely you are to block an attacker / win a 50/50, or beat the defender to the ball
Side Wall Reads
Video 1: Very common bounces from the curve of the wall
Hitting the ball at the bottom of the curve can launch pop in the air and the wall close to this area. Be patient and see the route of the ball before you jump/overcommit
Video 2: When hitting the ball into the corner you have to be careful of the angle it bounces off the wall. Even minor adjustments will completely change the outcome

Common Bounces / Angles
This is the hardest part of wall reads. Knowing where the ball can bounce based on the trajectory of the ball.
Video 1: The ball bouncing into the corner will change based on what part of the wall it hits. BE CAREFUL and don't center the ball when you're trying to clear it!
Video 2: Notice how little the angle changes when the ball hits the wall but how significant the change is

Precision Reads
Same POVs as Side Wall Reads.
Backboard reads are super important to learn. Both offensive and defensive.
Offense: The more distance you have from the net, the more time you will have to react and read the ball. This will also give you a better angle to shoot the ball.
Defense: React quickly and don't hesitate! Use the tips above and below to line your shots up to block that ball!
Backboard Reads
Awkward bounces happen more than we would like and when they do... they are very hard to predict
The best way to avoid getting completely thrown off guard is to assess the play early, slow down, watch & try to predict the bounces so you can position appropriately
Training packs are the best way to get more efficient with wall reads, offensive or defensive
