Camera + controls

Below is a few tips and resources to help you find your best settings!

Camera Settings
Rocket league camera settings are going to vary, all the way from "Standard Setting" which 99.99% of Rocket League players use, to some crazy off-the-wall looking settings that Freestylers or the one guy might use.

You should not even consider "freestyler" camera settings unless you know what you are doing. I have attached a few resources to help you understand the basics and assist you with finding your ideal settings.

Controls Settings

YOU'RE TELLING ME........ Default controls are NOT the best??? I have been using them for MONTHS!!

Just like the camera, controller settings are very personal and everyone has their preference. However, I can promise you that the default settings for Rocket League are NOT a good long-term layout, no matter who you are. I recommend doing your own research through trial and error and seeing what layout suits you best.

Hesitant to Change? Consider the following:
o The longer you use your current settings, the harder it will be to adjust when you want to change them.
o It will take a few weeks of awful gameplay to get used to a controller change or a new button layout
o You will progress through the ranks, meaning, you will eventually learn how to do more complex mechanics.
